Daniel Kohlmeigner is based in Vienna, travels the world as an electronic musician, performs live and releases music as one half of the duo Ogris Debris. From radio singles to experimental club music, his productions and personal taste covers the many different faces of musical expression.

"Never stop listening to the songs that made you fall in love with music in the first place!“ is one of Daniel’s principles to make sure he remains passionate about his work. Loud and quiet, funny and serious, wild and relaxed, rich and fine are only some of the contrasts to keep life and music interesting.

After lecturing at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (MDW/ipop) and a public technical college (Graphische) he experienced the joy of sharing his knowledge and the demand for comprehensive education in the creative and technical aspects of making electronic music. He consequently teamed up with the Vienna Music Institute  (VMI) to offer regular workshops and create their three-year study program for electronic music and sound design.

Feel free to contact Daniel for private lessons, ongoing courses and workshops.
